I recently took my grandkids to a park with water play features and our daughter forgot to pack UPF tops. Fortunately I had Mineral Defense which I slathered all over their backs and they rubbed it on their tummies. I put it on their faces and the tops of their ears. We were there a couple of hours, plus. I reapplied it once and even with spraying water, they were safe with no burns. I am a stage III melanoma survivor and have been cancer free since 2016. I take sun protection seriously.

I like this because its zinc oxide 20 percent and its SPF 50. Im one of those people that don't mind a white cast because all I want is a sunscreen that actually protects my skin from the sun and getting tan. Nonetheless, this one does blend in. I also like it doesn't have any ingredients that sting my eyes.

My skin is super-sensitive and very fair. I need a sunscreen that protects without irritation and this one is perfect! It's easy to apply and doesn't make my skin red and itchy like some other sunscreens do. I wore it out on a hot day and it stayed put.
