My children’s skin reactions to chemical sunscreens and my personal journey with Lyme Disease led to the creation of Solara Suncare. Solving a health and sensitive skin need is the core of what makes our formulas different.  We believe that for a healthy defense barrier, our skin can benefit from a similar integrative wellness philosophy as our body: adaptogens, superfruits + science for multi-beneficial results.

Our mission since launching five years ago is to formulate consciously, guided by stricter European standards, replacing questionable and irritating ingredients with the best clinically studied plant + science-backed actives. Working with talented chemists, doctors, healers, estheticians and global testing partners, we’re giving zinc-based sunscreen refresh from the inside out.
